General Plans

U.S.S. Sigsbee (DD 502)

USS Sigsbee (DD 502)
U.S.S. Sigsbee (DD-502)

These are general shipyard plans for the Fletcher-class destroyer Sigsbee. They are not construction blueprints, but rather general plans to give engineers and the Navy a broad outline of the ship’s design.

Sigsbee was a round-bridge variant, but was otherwise nearly identical to Abbot. See the history the Sigsbee for more information.

These plans were obtained by Ed Zajkowski and scanned by the Historic Naval Ships Association.
